Textiles and home linen from India
India is one of the world's largest producers of cotton and home textiles, with specialist clusters for towels, bed linen, rugs and hand block printing. Importers source everything from basic hotel linen to design-led printed collections.

How we source textiles and home linen
We manage lab dips and strike-offs, fabric testing and size checks, so colours and quality match across every batch.

Quality checks for textiles and home linen
On top of our six-stage quality control, these are the checks that matter most in this category.
Colour against approved lab dips under standard light
Fabric weight (GSM), thread count and construction
Sizes measured before and after washing for shrinkage
Stitching, hems and print alignment
Labels, care instructions and packing
Plus every standard stage: pre-production, material check, in-line inspection, final inspection, qc report, loading supervision.
Standards and compliance
- OEKO-TEX Standard 100 testing for harmful substances
- GOTS certification for products sold as organic
- REACH restrictions, including azo dyes (EU)
- Textile fibre content and care labelling rules for your market
Requirements depend on your market and product. We confirm what applies and arrange testing at accredited labs before shipment.
What affects MOQs and lead times
- Whether the product is a factory's standard design or needs new tooling or moulds
- The material and finish, especially special platings, colours or dyes
- Packaging that must be printed in your brand
- The factory's current order book and the season
- Testing or certification your market requires
You get factory quotes with minimums and lead times in your shortlist, before you commit to anything.

Questions
Can I use my own colours and prints?
Yes. Factories make lab dips for colours and strike-offs for prints, which you approve before bulk production starts.
Can you source organic cotton products?
Yes. We work with GOTS-certified suppliers and check that certificates cover the actual products and stages of production.
How do you check colour consistency between batches?
Each batch is compared with your approved lab dip under the same standard light during inspection, and shade bands are agreed in advance.
